Vista Grill was originally known as Sr. Chico's Restaurant, which was built in 1983 by the innovative and respected Chico Perez, who also created and developed Chico's Paradise, an unforgettable place just south of Puerto Vallarta where you can enjoy a pleasant meal in one of the most beautiful settings along the coast of Jalisco.

A dreamer of dreams, and an exceptional chef with an expertise for local cuisine, Chico could also see the potential in the beautiful view offered by a lot overlooking Banderas Bay, so he built Sr Chico's Restaurant high up on a hill on PV's South Side.

Made famous by Chico's flair for preparing international cuisine with a Mexican flavor, Sr. Chico's was soon known by locals and tourists alike as one of the best restaurants with a view in Puerto Vallarta.

Years of success and an excellent reputation for an extraordinary dining experience were the legacy left to his youngest brother, Alberto, who had visions of a sleek, modern, jazz-filled ambiance enhanced by the spectacular view of Banderas Bay.

And while the restaurant's name and concept have changed, Alberto continues the family tradition of owning and operating restaurants in Puerto Vallarta that offer fabulous food and professional service in a beautiful and romantic setting.

The concept is completed with a taste for excellence in fine cuisine, which is a tribute to his late brother and inspiration, Chico Perez.
